Matt Brinker writes thriller, horror, and action features rooted in the industrial landscape of Western Pennsylvania. He founded Allegheny Gothic as the banner for that work. His scripts focus on institutions, the systems they protect, and the people those systems fail.

He is completing the UCLA Professional Screenwriting Program, with additional coursework at NYU. His debut feature, An Audit, is currently in development.
